The blockbuster global Mummy franchise takes a spellbinding turn as the action shifts to Asia for the next chapter in the adventure series. Rick (Fraser) is joined in this all-new adventure by son Alex (newcomer Luke Ford), wife Evelyn (Maria Bello) and her brother, Jonathan (John Hannah). And this time, the O'Connells must stop a mummy awoken from a 2,000-year-old curse who threatens to plunge the world into his merciless, unending service. The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor opens this summer, August 1.

drock. the matrix revolutions was not as good as the original, and yes it lost it's special element that was so killer in the first. But don't think for one second that it sucked. If you can make a movie half that good i will take it back. am excited for this either way.

Dwayn Johnson (a.k.a the rock) I havent forgotten about him. The scropion king was cool, but at the end of the second movie the big scropion was so fake, and i seen other monster movies, and they actually look real. If the Big scropion wasn't in the movie then it would had been better.
Also those Dog mummies were cool.

The matrix revolutions trailer was spectacular and the movie sucked big time.I don't trust trailers. They excite us to watch the movie but it doesn't mean it will be good at all.Looks better than expected yes but it's not out yet.

I just hope the music is good and that there are no unfinished vfx shots.

Hey MovieWebers! This is who was original named "HarryPatch". Lately I've been busy writing scripts for short films that I plan on making over the Summer. Also, I am in the process of my movie reviews and Film Recommendation Lists over on Flixster. So, I have been off-n-on Movieweb for some time. Once I get through my busy projects, I should be back on here as much as I can.

Anyway, The main purpose of this long comment that's not even about "the Dark Knight" is to ask all of you users out there to help me decide what the Most - "POPULAR" - Films of all-time are. I'm looking for a 100, but you can just suggest one if you like. Please email me at:

pop4m6@yahoo.com

:to send in your vote for Most POPULAR Films...OR - you can add a comment on my profile. Now, this is not a way for you all to tell me your favorite movie, but rather to tell me what you feel are the most referenced, inspirational, influenced & well-known movies you can think of.
---Thank you for your help! :)

The Mummy! One of the better franchises of recent times. So on that basis, looking forward to this. Looks decent on the trailer, but hope this isn't one film too many. At least it's not scooped up every couple of years like most franchises, so some thought may have gone into this. But no Rachel Weisz? :( And Gui, why are you still carrying on your campaign to be a prat? Try putting what you've got to say in one comment for a change.

Why do I think more and more that Ray Harryhausen was doing stop motion again?
How to make a better Mummy movie:
1. Let the plot build the suspense
2. Have the characters behave for the time period. (See first movie).
3. More shock, less Star Wars (effects look unbelievable for the real world).
It will be awesome.... to make a video game off of.
