Megalyn Echikunwoke Signs Up for CSI: Miami

The cast of a popular forensics show has just added another member after losing an original member. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Megalyn Echikunwoke has joined the cast of CSI: Miami.

Echikunwoke will play a medical examiner who hits it off right from the beginning with David Caruso's Horatio Caine and his forensic team.

Her casting will fill the void left by Khandi Alexander's departure, who played medical examiner Alexx Woods and was with the show since its inception in 2002. Alexander might also return to the show for guest spots.
