that 'found footage' style of directing is played out, in my opinion. not quite as played out and trite as calling people names when they disagree with your opinions, but still.
no doubt hes good at doing that handheld camera type of filming and making it seem like its real footage but after he does a few films like that it might start getting old. and ofcourse others will start capitalizing on that and make more movies like that and run it into the ground. so for the mean time im going to enjoy this movie and possibly the one after.
well i like how its looks gritty, gives the sense your actually their, not being blown away by millions on special effects, how film really was a couple decades ago.
by "found footage" does that mean it will be another handi-cam movie like cloverfield, blair witch and diary of the dead? because i'm sick of that shit. get me some innovative directing and photography or fuck off.
