Stan Lee to Play Larry King in Iron Man 2

Source:  Nuke the Fridge
Stan Lee to Play Larry King in Iron Man 2Nuke the Fridge unveiled an interesting tidbit of info today. It seems that Marvel comics' icon Stan Lee will be appearing in Iron Man 2 in a beefed up cameo role that will allow the man more screen time than usual. According to their sources, Lee will be playing an alternate world version of Larry King.

Appearing as King, Lee will be interviewing Tony Stark on Larry King Live. As this highly anticipated Jon Favreau sequel will be introducing Iron Man's sleek new, modified "black" suit of armor, King will question Stark on his latest innovations. Why isn't Larry King appearing in the film as himself? That has yet to be answered, but Lee's appearance should be a good bit of fun.

Iron Man 2 opens May 7th, 2010.

this man is a legend! If Iron Man 2 keeps close to the original story like the first one did then it'll be another success. For exception of the first 2 X-Men movies, The Incredible Hulk, and Iron Man all the other Marvel movies have been let downs. I'm still iffy on the Spider-man movies, third one sucked for sure though, Venom was a joke. The new Punisher movie had its moments but it was just too much bad acting for my taste.

I have a really bad feeling that this is going to be another one of those films that EVERYONE CANT WAIT TO SEE, but ends up falling on its face. the first was a great film and before dark knight started to change the ideas of superhero movies and although i think this will be a fun part, i am really thinking that this will be another hyped movie that does not surpass or bring much to the franchise... hopefully i am wrong but we will see.

Yeah, he will most likely appear in Captain America. Like you said, he revived him...he might as well have created him, because Cap is/was best known for his role with the Avengers ha

Can't wait for the Avengers

True he did revive the character so maybe he will, hell i wouldnt mind seeing him as one of the scientist, i think that would be cool kinda rebirthing the character all together just on the big screen lol

Because he didn't create ALL Marvel characters. The movies he appears in are of characters that he had some hand in creating, which is why he wasn't in Wolverine(I think I saw someone ask that in a comment)

Larry King should be only Larry King. Stan Lee should be someone like Larry King in the movie, like host of the similar show witch reminds audience of Larry King show, and NOT play Larry King in the movie. But whatever...It's not that important....I can't wait for this movie!

okay, the title of the story was misleading since the real LK does cameos as himself in lots of movies. at least SL's getting more screen time.

Iron Man has multitudes of different suits. Part of the reason I'm looking forward to this movie so much is that he won't just be working on the "all-around" model, we might even see the prelims for a Hulk-buster suit. It's been six months, and Tony Stark is a fucking genius, he's probably got tons of shit ready to fly (or shoot).
