Variety reports that Ashley Greene (Twilight) is negotiating to star in The Apparition for Joel Silver's Dark Castle genre label.

The Apparition focuses "on a young couple haunted by a supernatural presence unleashed during a college experiment."

Todd Lincoln is going to direct and write this project. Production is slated to get started February 1, 2010.
