The latest Star Wars: The Force Awakens TV spot reveals the return of an unforgettable face of a character from Return of the Jedi, Nien Nunb. Last seen co-piloting the Millennium Flacon with Lando Calrissian, Nien Nunb was a crucial member of the Rebel Alliance and helped seal the fate of the doomed Death Star in Return of the Jedi's climatic finale. Is this really Nien Nunb, or are we looking at a new character from the same species? Time will tell.

In just 25 days, Star Wars: The Force Awakens will finally hit theaters, which will introduce to new heroes and villains alike. Comic Book Resources has discovered a TV spot, which offers new footage of Finn (John Boyega), Rey (Daisy Ridley), Oscar Isaac and the lovable ball droid BB-8. While we still have a few more weeks to wait until this highly-anticipated adventure arrives, Star Wars: The Force Awakens has already broken box office records.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens has raked in a staggering $50 million in advanced ticket sales, which is twice as much as the previous record holder, 2012's The Dark Knight Rises. There are still 28 days left until Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters on December 18, so it wouldn't be surprising if that $50 million tally keeps growing and growing. Sources claim that nearly a third of the $50 million pre-sales figure comes from IMAX theaters alone. With box office records already being broken, many wonder if Star Wars: The Force Awakens can break even more during opening weekend.

Unfortunately, this TV spot doesn't give us our first look at Luke Skylwalker, who hasn't been seen in any of the previously-released footage. There have been rumors that Luke achieved something so powerful with The Force that he put himself into exile, away from his friends and family, for the past 30 years, but, naturally, nothing has been confirmed. Producer Kathleen Kennedy recently revealed that she helped convince J.J. Abrams to come aboard and direct by asking him one simple question: "Who is Luke Skywalker?" Since neither the producer or director have elaborated on what that question really means, it will surely be the one big question fans want an answer to, leading into the December 18 release.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens will introduce three new heroes into the Star Wars universe, John Boyega's Finn, Daisy Ridley's Rey and Oscar Isaac's Poe Dameron, along with Adam Driver's villainous Kylo Ren. Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Harrison Ford (Han Solo) and Carrie Fisher are also reprising their iconic roles from the original trilogy, although very little is known about their characters. The Star Wars: The Force Awakens supporting cast includes Domhnall Gleeson as General Hux, Lupita Nyong'o as Maz Kanata, Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma, Andy Serkis as Supreme Leader Snoke and Max von Sydow as an unidentified character.

J.J. Abrams directs Star Wars: The Force Awakens from a script he co-wrote with Lawrence Kasdan. This epic adventure will be followed by the first spinoff, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, arriving on December 16, 2016. Star Wars: Episode VIII is up next on May 26, 2017, followed by Star Wars Anthology: Han Solo Movie on May 25, 2018 and Star Wars: Episode IX in 2019. Can you believe that this highly-anticipated release is almost here? Check out the latest footage below, and stay tuned for more as the countdown continues towards Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
