Earlier this week, Disney CEO Bob Iger confirmed that they are making Star Wars spin-off movies after Star Wars: Episode VII, two of which will reportedly center on Han Solo and Boba Fett. Apparently not everyone got the news, including actor Ewan McGregor, who played Obi-Wan Kennobi in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace, Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones, and Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith. The actor appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night to promote his new movie Jack the Giant Slayer, where he revealed he was not aware of these stand-alone movies. Take a look at what he had to say in the video below.

There are a couple of things that can be drawn from the actor's statement. One is that Disney has no plans of utilizing the Obi-Wan Kenobi character at all. Or, he may not be old enough to play the character in a Han Solo spin-off movie, depending on how young the character is going to be. Do you think Ewan McGregor could pull off a 55 year-old Ben Kenobi? Does he even need to be in a Han Solo movie? Maybe the Yoda movie?
