Ansel Elgort has been tapped to star opposite Chloe Moretz in Sacha Gervasi's November Criminals for Lotus Entertainment. Based on an adapted screenplay by Academy Award Nominee Steven Knight from Sam Munson's novel, the film will also star two-time Academy Award Nominee Catherine Keener.

Beth O'Neil will produce alongside Lotus, who is also handling international sales. CAA and WME are co-repping the domestic sale. November Criminals follows two teenagers into the dangerous underbelly of Washington DC as they investigate the murder of their friend while falling in love for the first time.

Lotus Entertainment's current slate includes: Xavier Gens thriller The Crucifixion from a screenplay by Chad and Carey Hayes; Shekhar Kapur's epic adventure Tiger's Curse, based on the first in a series of New York Times bestselling novels; and Tanya Wexler's Replicas starring Keanu Reeves. 

The company is in post-production on: Luis Prieto's Kidnap starring Halle Berry; Tom Tykwer's A Hologram for the King starring two-time Academy Award Winner Tom Hanks; Scott Hicks' Fallen based on the best-selling YA novel; Henry Hobson's Maggie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Abigail Breslin, which was acquired by Lionsgate for North America; and Craig Zobel's Z for Zachariah with Chiwetel Ejiofor and Chris Pine which will have its world premiere in Sundance this month and be distributed in the US by Lionsgate/Roadside Attractions.
