Joseph Kosinski (Tron: Legacy, Oblivion) is in talks to direct The Twilight Zone for Warner Bros. Matt Reeves had been attached to direct back in 2011, but he is no longer involved.

Anthony Peckham had previously written a draft of the script, but the project is now being redeveloped for Joseph Kosinski. No story details have been released at this time.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson Killoran are producing through their Appian Way production company, alongside Michael Ireland. No production schedule was given.

Rod Serling created The Twilight Zone TV series in 1959, which featured a number of sci-fi-themed and paranormal story lines each week. The series was revived in 1985 and 2002, along with Twilight Zone: The Movie in 1983 starring Dan Aykroyd and Albert Brooks.
