Once Again ‘The Departed’ Ships Up to First Place on the Sales Charts

Movie PictureThe Departed just keeps coming back for more.

In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, they report that the Best Picture winner regained it's spot at the top of Nielsen VideoScan's First Alert sales chart. Coming in second was last weeks chart topper Flushed Away, and placing third was Stranger Than Fiction.

Filling out the rest of the chart was Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny in the No. 6 spot with A Good Year coming in in the No. 8 sales position.

Further down the sales chart was The Land Before Time: The Great Day for Flyers, Vol. 12 in the number No. 14 slot, while Bratz: Fashion Pixiez placed at No. 16.

In rentals, Stranger Than Fiction had a better fate as it was First on Home Media Magazine's video rental chart. The Departed continued to reap rewards in the Second position.

Lastly, A Good Year took the Eighth position in rentals while Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny came in in the Tenth spot.
