Last month, during Once Upon a Time's Season 3 finale, the show teased that Elsa from the hit Disney animated movie Frozen will be coming to Storybrooke in Season 4. While Elsa still has not been cast yet, a new report from TV Line reveals that the ABC series has cast newcomer Elizabeth Lail as Elsa's sister Anna, while Scott Michael Foster will portray Anna's beau Kristoff in the new season.

The Once Upon a Time version of Anna, who was originally voiced by Kristen Bell in Frozen, is described as, "a fun-loving fearless optimist" who often gets in over her head, but has the ability to overcome obstacles due to her rescourceful nature. She also values her sister's relationship over everything else. Kristoff, portrayed by Jonathan Groff in the Disney animated movie, has a hearty and sometimes gruff demeanor, although his love for Anna and her sister Elsa often cannot be hidden underneath his manly persona. Kristoff is also adjusting to life in the castle, which is the first time he has ever slept inside.

Series creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz teased last month that other Frozen characters would be popping up in Season 4, but at the time, Elsa was the only one they would confirm. In the Season 3 finale, Elsa appeared in Rumpelstiltskin's vault, with Adam Horowitz teasing that there will be a back story about how she got there.

Elizabeth Lail will have her TV debut by playing Anna, having only previously appeared in two short films. Scott Michael Foster is best known for playing Chappie on the ABC Family series Greek, and he currently plays Hunt Whitmarsh on AMC's Halt & Catch Fire.
