In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, Main Street, one of Horton Foote's last screenplays, will be starring Orlando Bloom and Andrew McCarthy.

The project is set to start shooting in April.

Currently cast in the film is Ellen Burstyn, Patricia Clarkson and Colin Firth. The film is still waiting to cast a central character.

The script follows an ensemble in North Carolina who see their world's change when a stranger shows up.

Bloom will play a policeman and McCarthy will play a business manager.

The project will begin shooting in Durham. N.C. next month. The film will be directed by John Doyle.
