On the heels of today's news that Sam Claflin will play Finnick Odair in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2, comes word that the actor has joined the cast of Overdrive.

We first reported on this project back in October, when Karl Urban and Ben Barnes signed on as two car thief brothers, who move to the south of France to find more challenging work. No details were given regarding Sam Claflin's character. Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke is playing the female lead.

Antonio Negret is directing from a screenplay by Derek Haas and Michael Brandt, with Taken director Pierre Morel producing.

Shooting is scheduled to start this summer in Marseilles, France.
