‘Pain and Gain’ Trailer

Following the new poster that debuted earlier this month, Paramount Pictures has unveiled the first trailer for Pain and Gain. Director Michael Bay takes a break from his lucrative Transformers franchise for this comedy about two bodybuilders (Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson) who find themselves in the middle of a kidnapping and extortion scheme in Miami. Take a look at the first footage from this larger-than-life tale based on a true story, also starring Rob Corddry, Anthony Mackie, and Ed Harris.

Pain & Gain was released April 26th, 2013.

I'm hooked! This looks nothing like what I expected?! Don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing!!! But I will be seeing this movie!

I also workout, so I also understand.... In the fitness age we live in, we're overdue for a "working out" satire.

I guess it boils down to this: do you want to watch two hours of Wahlberg and Johnson working out? Cuz I don't.

Insert racial joke, insert racial joke, cheesy pans around characters in slow-mo, no substance. Not even a transformer or two to make it interesting :/

                Yeah...no. Looks bad.

Looks like your typical Michael Bay movie, but with a plot. I'll probably check it out.

"Pumping Iron" meets "The Fast and the Furious"...!! I don't know! Mark Wahlberg's career has slipped lately!

I can't dislike Michael Bay since his action movies from the 90's. The guy makes fun, action movies and his cinematography is amongst the best. He sure knows how to set the tone for a film with intensity just like Tony Scott did. Raw films. Sure, he's got some duds but I must admit even those were fun. This looks more like a throwback to his earlier stuff in his career so Im down.

Looks pretty good, reminds me of Bad Boys only bodybuilding kidnappers instead of cops.

Honestly I expected a brutal, violent trailer.....

The first half of the trailer looked surprisingly un-Michael Bay like. Who knows, this looks pretty straightforward and humorous, which is what Bay does best (The Rock, The Island). I'll probably check it out just to see if they do go camping. :P

I don't know if this is supposed to be funny or serious.
