In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, Patrick Tatopoulos, a well known creature and special effects designer-turned-director, is going to helm Scott Milam's script Suspension.

The film is being produced by Daniel Alter and Adrian Askarieh.

Milam's script takes place in the German Alps "as a raging fire burns and a rescue helicopter is forced to make an emergency landing on an old suspension bridge. Trapped, the passengers' hope for survival go up in flames as they face a new kind of creature."

The script started to make progress when Alter, a friend of the writer, asked him if he could show it to Tatopoulos. Milam allowed this to happen and Tatopoulos liked it.

Tatopoulos, who has created monsters for such films as Pitch Black and I Am Legend, wants to make a new type of creature for this movie.
