According to Screen Daily, renowned director Pedro Almodóvar (Bad Education, Talk to Her) recently said that his next film is titled Volver, and it will star the celebrated Penélope Cruz.

He described Volver (which means "to come back" in Spanish) as a "generational story" about three women: a grandmother, a daughter and a granddaughter. The movie will take place between Madrid and La Mancha (Almodóvar's native land) in a tale that involves both ghosts and tango.

He had this to say about his upcoming project,

"I'm not saying it will be 100% comedy, but it will definitely have a lighter and funnier tone."

Actress Chus Lampreave, a veteran of his movies, will once again be in the cast. Cruz other film with the acclaimed director was All About My Mother.
