Amy Ryan and Alan Alda Join Tom Hank's Cold War Thriller

Amy Ryan has signed on to star in director Steven Spielberg's Untitled Cold War Thriller, with Alan Alda, Billy Magnussen and Eve Hewson in talks to join the cast.

Tom Hanks is attached to star as American lawyer James Donovan, who was tasked by the U.S. government to negotiate the release of a U.S. pilot who was captured behind enemy lines. Amy Ryan will play Donovan's wife, but no details were given for Alan Alda, Billy Magnussen and Eve Hewson's characters. Mark Rylance is also set to star in this project based on a true story.

Two ‘Escape Plan’ Clips Featuring 50 Cent and Amy Ryan

As you may recall, Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger's upcoming action-thriller Escape Plan was originally entitled The Tomb. Summit Entertainment has debuted two clips, one of which features our first look at 50 Cent and Amy Ryan, and reveals that the prison security expert Ray Breslin (Sylvester Stallone) is trapped in is nicknamed "The Tomb." The second clip shows Ray being introduced to Warden Hobbs (James Caviezel), where he learns that his "evacuation code" does him no good.

Amy Ryan Signs on for ‘In Treatment’'s 3rd Season

It seems that Gabriel Byrne will be seeing a new psychiatrist on the third season of a hit HBO series. Deadline TV is reporting that actress Amy Ryan has signed on to co-star in HBO's In Treatment.

Ryan will play the new psychiatrist that fellow psychiatrist Dr. Paul Weston (Byrne) sees for treatment. Dianne Wiest played Weston's therapist and mentor in the first two seasons but the site is reporting that she is leaving the series and Ryan's character will be Weston's new doctor.
