‘Good Kill’ International Trailer Starring Ethan Hawke

‘Good Kill’ International Trailer Starring Ethan Hawke

Fans of the underrated sci-fi cult classic Gattaca are in for a treat with Good Kill. This war thriller reteams Ethan Hawke with writer/director Andrew Niccol for a timely tale about Drones and their effects on society. Voltage Pictures has released the first international trailer, in anticipation of the film's release in the UK this April.

Good Kill tells the story of a Las Vegas fighter-pilot turned drone-pilot (Ethan Hawke), who fights the Taliban via remote control for half of his day, then goes home to his wife (January Jones) and kids in the suburbs for the other half. But the pilot is starting to question the mission. Is he creating more terrorists than he's killing? Is he fighting a war without end? This is one soldier's tale with epic implications.

SET VISIT: ‘In Time’

http://movieweb.com/movie/in-time/ We speak with stars Justin Timberlake, Amanda Seyfried, producer Eric Newman, and director Andrew Niccol on the downtown Los Angeles set of this futuristic thriller Writer-director Andrew Niccol has always been one of my favorite filmmakers. I love all of his films - Gattaca, The Truman Show, Simone, and Lord of War - even though most of them failed to make a dent at the box office. So, I was quite thrilled when I was invited to visit the set of Andrew Niccol's latest movie, In Time, which hits theaters on October 28, and may finally bring the director some long overdue commercial success.

Like most Andrew Niccol films, In Time takes us into a bold new future, but this time, time is the real focus. In this world, the aging gene is shut off after one turns 25, when time literally becomes money. Every human has an electronic clock on their wrists, which shows how much time they have left in their life. When you go to work, instead of getting paid in dollars and cents, you get paid in minutes and hours. These units of time we may take for granted in our world, are used to purchase goods and services, but every item bought literally takes time off your life.

Filmmaker Andrew Niccol has been set to direct The Host, an adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's first post-Twilight novel. We reported earlier this month that Saoirse Ronan will star in The Host.

Olivia Wilde Is Justin Timberlake's Mom in Untitled Andrew Niccol Thriller

Olivia Wilde has joined the cast of Andrew Niccol's currently untitled sci-fi thriller for 20th Century Fox. According to The Warp, she will play Justin Timberlake's mother. The two actors previously worked together in the crime drama Alpha Dog.

How could Olivia Wilde possibly play the not-much-younger Justin Timberlake's mother? Because this story takes place in a future America, where a technological breakthrough has made it possible for humans to stop aging. Adults are able to stay young as long as they can pay the hefty price tag that comes along with immortality.
