CBS Films announced today that Andy Fickman (Parental Guidance, The Game Plan) is attached to direct the romantic comedy The Exes. The film is based on the book The Ex Files by Jane Moore with the screenplay written by Kelly Bowe. It will be produced by Leonard Goldberg.
The Exes follows the ex-girlfriend of the groom, who reluctantly agrees to attend his destination wedding for closure and for friendship. Billy Crystal is attached to both star in and produce the film, which has been in development at Paramount for several years now and was recently removed from active development.
