Yesterday we reported that the third installment of a popular vampire film series could undergo reshoots without the original director and the day before that we reported that Sony wasn't happy with an upcoming superhero film. It seems that both stories aren't true. IndieWire is reporting that Summit Entertainment has confirmed that pick-ups (not a reshoot) on The Twilight Saga: Eclipse are happening, but director David Slade will be at the helm.
The original story claimed that Summit had reached out to Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke and The Twilight Saga: New Moon director Chris Weitz to potentially helm the new shoot, but Summit denied the claim and praised the director Slade by saying that The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, might be, "the best of the three." It was said that the pick-ups will take place over two or three days and will happen in the next few weeks.Read More
