Last week, we reported that Emmy-winning actress Jessica Lange will not be back for Season 5 of American Horror Story, which we reported in January will be called American Horror Story: Hotel. Over the past week, series creator Ryan Murphy has confirmed two new casting additions through his official Twitter page, Chloë Sevigny and Wes Bentley. Of course, no character details were given at this time.
Both actors have appeared on previous seasons of American Horror Story. Chloë Sevigny starred in Season 2, American Horror Story: Aslyum, as Briarcliff Aslyum's Shelly, a nymphomaniac who was committed by her husband. Wes Bentley portrayed Edward Mordrake, a two-faced ghost who collected the souls of tortured carnival performers in Season 4, American Horror Story: Freak Show. Actress Chloë Sevigny is in final talks to join the cast of American Horror Story for Season 2.

Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman (Howl, The Celluloid Closet) will direct, from an original screenplay by Andy Bellin (Trust). A Millennium Films Production, Lovelace is produced by Heidi Jo Markel for Eclectic Pictures, Laura Rister and Jason Weinberg for Untitled Entertainment, and Jim Young for Animus Films, with executive producers Boaz Davidson, Danny Dimbort, Mark Gill, Merritt Johnson, Avi Lerner, Trevor Short and John Thompson for Nu Image/Millennium Films. Ginnifer Goodwin is already signed for the ABC fantasy series Once Upon a Time, and now Chloë Sevigny has joined the cast of HBO's upcoming four-hour miniseries on Lizzie Borden.
Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman will produce through their joint company Playtone, which also produces Big Love. The story will follow Lizzie Borden's trial, from which she was acquitted of killing her father and stepmother with a hatchet.
