Christian Slater has signed on to star alongside James Franco in an adaptation of the hit play The Adderall Diaries.

Christian Slater has signed on to star in director Lars von Trier's erotic drama The Nymphomaniac.
The story, told through eight different chapters, centers on Joe (Charlotte Gainsbourg) and her life as a self-diagnosed nymphomaniac. The plot follows her from birth until the age of 50. Christian Slater will portray Joe's father. Stellan Skarsgård also stars as Seligman, a man who Joe tells her sexual adventures to after he finds her beaten in an alley.
