A few weeks ago, the first teaser trailer was released for Anchorman: The Legend Continues, which confirmed that Will Ferrell's co-stars David Koechner, Paul Rudd, and Steve Carell are reprising their roles as Champ Kind, Brian Fantana, and Brick Tamland. Today we have word that Christina Applegate will also return as anchorwoman Veronica Corningstone.
Back in April, director Adam McKay revealed he was contacting the actresses representatives and said there was, "something for her" in the story. It isn't known how large her role may be in the sequel at this time. The director also stated that this follow-up will revolve around the advent of the 24-hour news cycle, and the growing diversity of TV news in the late 1970s.Read More
