Ahead of tonight's episode of The CW's The Flash titled "Plastique", the network has released a trailer featuring footage from the next four episodes, introducing us to Clancy Brown as General Wade Eiling.
This new footage also offers our first look at Robert Knepper as The Clock King, a character who has transferred over from The CW's Arrow, along with a number of new villains that Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) will face over the next few weeks. Clancy Brown, who starred in Fox's Sleepy Hollow last season, has signed on for a major recurring role in CW's The Flash as General Wade Elling, debuting in the show's fifth episode. It isn't known exactly how many episodes he will appear in during Season 1.
Last week, we reported that Kelly Frye has signed on to play Sgt. Bette Sans Souci, a.k.a. Plastique, a bomb disposal expert who was given the ability to turn anything she touches into a bomb, due to exposure from the same S.T.A.R. Labs incident that turned Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) into the World's Fastest Man. Legendary Pictures and Universal Pictures have closed deals for Daniel Wu and Clancy Brown to join the cast of Warcraft, based on Blizzard Entertainment's award-winning Warcraft universe. Charles Roven, Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni and Alex Gartner will produce. Stuart Fenegan, Jillian Share, Brent O'Connor and Blizzard's Mike Morhaime and Paul Sams will serve as executive producers. Chris Metzen, Rob Pardo and Nick Carpenter from Blizzard will co-produce.
The script was written by Charles Leavitt and rewritten by Duncan Jones. Production is set to begin as planned in Vancouver this January.Read More

Previously titled Heartland, the film centers on a farmer and sales seemdman (Dennis Quaid), who tries to deal with his racecar-driving son who refuses to follow in his footsteps. Clancy Brown is set to play a rival farmer.Read More

Three more actors have signed on to director Jon Favreau's Iron Man 2 follow-up film. According to Deadline New York, Paul Dano, Keith Carradine and Clancy Brown have signed on to star in Cowboys and Aliens.
It was said that Dano would play a cowboy that helps fight the attacking aliens, Carradine would play the town's sherrif and Brown would play another cowboy. The trio join a cast that already includes Harrison Ford, Sam Rockwell, Olivia Wilde, Daniel Craig and Noah Ringer.Read More
