‘Results’ TV Spot Has Cobie Smulders on the Run | EXCLUSIVE

Fresh off her turn in the global blockbuster Avengers: Age of Ultron, Cobie Smulders switches gears and goes the indie route in the upcoming comedy Results, arriving in theaters May 29. Results is the latest directorial effort from indie filmmaker Andrew Bujalski, best known for films such as Computer Chess and Beeswax. Today we have an exclusive TV spot that showcases the unusual relationship that unfolds between three unlikely friends.

Recently divorced, newly rich, and utterly miserable, Danny (Kevin Corrigan) would seem to be the perfect test subject for a definitive look at the relationship between money and happiness. Danny's well-funded ennui is interrupted by a momentous trip to the local gym, where he meets self-styled guru/owner Trevor (Guy Pearce) and irresistibly acerbic trainer Kat (Cobie Smulders). Soon, their three lives are inextricably knotted, both professionally and personally.

Cobie Smulders Returning to ‘S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Before Season 2 Finale

She wouldn't specify which episode she will appear in, and it isn't known how large her role is, or why Maria Hill's presence is needed in this episode. Last season, the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier drastically altered the course of the show, as it was revealed that Hydra had been infiltrating S.H.I.E.L.D. and other organizations for decades. It isn't known how, or if, the events portrayed in Avengers: Age of Ultron will affect Season 2 of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but we'll just have to wait and see in a few weeks.

It's worth noting that Coulson (Clark Gregg) has been on a "secret mission" of sorts lately, which could be the reason for Maria Hill's arrival. It's possible Maria Hill could appear in "The Dirty Half Dozen" or "Scars", the episodes directly before and after the release of Avengers: Age of Ultron, but we don't know that for sure. "The Dirty Half Dozen" centers on both Coulson and Gonzales (Edward James Olmos) putting their differences aside to face a new Hydra threat, which could have ties to Thomas Kretschmann's Avengers: Age of Ultron character Baron Von Strucker. While we wait for more details, take a look at Cobie Smulders' appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! below.
