Connie Britton Replaces Sharon Stone in ‘American Ultra’

Last month, we reported that actress Sharon Stone was replacing Uma Thurman in the action comedy American Ultra, which is currently in production. Today, Lionsgate announced that Nashville star Connie Britton is stepping in for Sharon Stone to play Victoria Lassetter, the head of a government program who tracks down a sleeper agent, played by Jesse Eisenberg. Four-time Emmy-nominated Connie Britton will appear as Victoria Lasseter in Lionsgate's action comedy film American Ultra. The film started production earlier this month.
