‘Vendetta’ Clip Has Dean Cain Fighting Dirty in Prison | EXCLUSIVE

Mason (Dean Cain) fights off three prisoners at the same time in our exclusive clip from Vendetta, arriving ON Demand and in theaters nationwide June 12 from Lionsgate and WWE Studios. We're not quite sure why this fight is taking place, but it seems that Mason isn't exactly a welcomed presence in his new home behind bars. It's also quite clear, though, that he's more than capable of taking care of himself, using anything and everything at his disposal to do so.

Dean Cain and WWE Superstar Paul Wight a.k.a. The Big Show star in Vendetta, an action-packed thriller about a detective pushed beyond his limits who will stop at nothing for vengeance. When his wife is killed by a criminal that he put away, Mason (Dean Cain), a hard-nosed detective, deliberately gets arrested in order to get revenge. While inside, Mason discovers a new criminal enterprise that those behind it would kill to protect.

‘Supergirl’: Are Helen Slater & Dean Cain Playing Kara's Parents?

‘Supergirl’: Are Helen Slater & Dean Cain Playing Kara's Parents?

At the tail end of last month, it was announced that Helen Slater, who played Kara Zor-El in the 1984 Supergirl movie, and Dean Cain, who portrayed Superman in the 1990s TV series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, have joined the DC Comics adventure series Supergirl for CBS. At the time, their roles were being kept a secret. Now, it seems their characters have been revealed by IMDB.

According to the Internet Movie Database, which is not always accurate, Helen Slater will be playing Sylvia Danvers, while Dean Cain takes on the role of Fred Danvers. The married couple are Kara Danvers' (aka Kara Zor-El) foster parents, who take in the young girl after she flees Krypton before the destruction of her home planet. While this news has not been confirmed, it makes a lot of sense, and sounds like perfect stunt casting. It also falls in line with how 90s The Flash star John Wesley Shipp returned to play father to Grant Gustin in the new CW series based on the DC Comic.
