Elisabeth Shue Joins ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’

Academy Award nominee Elisabeth Shue will join the cast of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, as a series regular, on the CBS Television Network. Her character will be introduced in the episode scheduled to air on Feb. 15, 2012.

Shue will play the newest CSI, fresh off an anger management course, amid rumors that D.B. Russell (Ted Danson) fired her when she worked for him in Seattle.

‘American Dad’ Renewed for Season 7 on Fox

Emmy-nominated Animation Domination staple American Dad! has been renewed for a seventh season, bringing the series through the 2012-2013 season, it was announced today by Kevin Reilly, President of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company.

American Dad! follows the lives of ultra-conservative, staunch GOP supporter and CIA agent Stan Smith (Seth MacFarlane) and his eccentric family that includes Francine (Wendy Schaal), his ditzy-but-lovable wife; Hayley (Rachael MacFarlane), his 18-year-old left-wing hippie daughter; Steve (Scott Grimes), his geeky, 14-year-old son; Roger (Seth MacFarlane), the selfish and sarcastic cross-dressing space alien; and Klaus (Dee Bradley Baker), an attention-starved goldfish. The fan-favorite series airs Sundays (7:30-8:00 PM ET/PT) on Fox.

Elisabeth Shue Set for ‘House at the End of the Street’

We reported back in June that actors Jennifer Lawrence and Max Thieriot will be starring in Mark Tonderai's upcoming horror film and now they've just added a third cast member. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Elisabeth Shue has joined the cast of House at the End of the Street.

The actress will play the mother of Jennifer Lawrence's character, who both move into a new house and discover that their new house is across from a house where a double murder took place, and Lawrence's character becomes friends with the young son who survived the ordeal (Max Thieriot).
