Actors Gérard Depardieu and Isabelle Adjani are circling roles in an untitled drama based on the Dominique Strauss-Kahn sex scandal.

Kiefer Sutherland, Gérard Depardieu, Til Schweiger, Thomas Jane, Johnny Hallyday, Jon Lovitz and Eric Cantona, will star in Sleight of Hand, it was announced today by Producer Richard Rionda Del Castro; whose Hannibal Classics will begin selling the film this week at Cannes. Also producing will be Gilles Thompson from Acteurs, Auteurs, Associes (AAA). Brad Mirman will direct the star-studded action comedy. Patricia Eberle will serve as executive producer. The film will shoot the end of July through mid-September.
In Sleight of Hand, also starring French actors Jean-Luc Couchard, Nora Arnezeder and Patrice Cols, the international cast plays a crew of small time crooks in Paris, who inadvertently end up possessing a rare gold coin belonging to a notorious French gangster. The leader of the crew calls his uncle (Depardieu), a retired criminal, to help them raise the money to repay the gangster. Director Ang Lee's upcoming adaptation Life of Pi has added new cast members Gérard Depardieu, Irrfan Khan and Adil Hussain, reports Variety.
The actors join the relatively-unknown lead actor Suraj Sharma. Gérard Depardieu will portray a chef while Irrfan Khan will play the adult version of Suraj Sharma's character, Pi. Adil Hussain will appear as Pi's father and Bollywood star Tabu is still in talks for the role of Pi's mother.Read More
