Liam Neeson and Giovanni Ribisi Join ‘A Million Ways to Die in the West’

Liam Neeson and Giovanni Ribisi have joined Seth MacFarlane's upcoming western comedy A Million Ways to Die in the West. Charlize Theron and Amanda Seyfried have already been attached to star.

The film centers on Albert (Seth MacFarlane), a sheep farmer that backs out of a gun duel, only to find out that his girlfriend (Amanda Seyfried) has dumped him. He sets out to exact his revenge on the outlaw that took his former lover and begins to train with a famous gunslinger (Liam Neeson). After completing his training he meets the outlaw's wife (Charlize Theron) and ends up falling in love with her. Giovanni Ribisi will be playing Albert's best friend Edward.

It's no names, no badges, and no mercy for these LAPD officers as they go after the notorious Mickey Cohen!

‘Ted’ Adds Giovanni Ribisi

Giovanni Ribisi has joined the cast of director Seth MacFarlane's Ted for Universal Pictures. This will be the Family Guy creator's first foray into feature films.

Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis are in final negotiations to star in this upcoming comedy, which revolves around a man whose childhood teddy bear has come to life as the result of a childhood wish, and has never left his side. Seth MacFarlane will be voicing the teddy bear.

Ben Foster and Giovanni Ribisi in Talks for ‘Contraband’

Ben Foster and Giovanni Ribisi are in negotiations to join Mark Wahlberg and Kate Beckinsale in the thriller Contraband for Universal and Working Title.

According to Variety, Contraband is a remake of the Icelandic pic Reykjavik-Rotterdam and is being directed by Baltasar Kormákur who also co-wrote, produced and starred in the original.

Pierce Brosnan and Billy Bob Thornton Join ‘St. Vincent’

We reported over a year ago that Mickey Rourke would be starring in a new film by director Walter Hill, and while that doesn't seem to be the case now, Hill does have a quartet of new actors. Variety is reporting that Pierce Brosnan, Billy Bob Thornton, Maria Bello and Giovanni Ribisi have all joined the cast of St. Vincent.

Walter Hill (The Warriors) is directing from a script by Cameron Young, which centers on a hitman, played by Bronsan, who poses as a priest to get close to his target, a gangland turncoat (Thornton). It wasn't clear what roles Bello and Ribisi would play in the film.
