‘Tomorrowland’ Eyes Hugh Laurie as the Main Villain

House star Hugh Laurie is in talks to play the primary villain in Disney's secretive sci-fi project Tomorrowland, alongside George Clooney. Naturally, since very little is know about the movie itself, no character details were given.

The story is said to be in the same vein as the 1977 Steven Spielberg classic Close Encounters of the Third Kind, which followed a man searching for extra-terrestrials on Earth.

Hugh Laurie Joins ‘RoboCop’ as CEO of OmniCorp

House star Hugh Laurie is in talks to portray the villain in MGM Studios' RoboCop remake.

The actor will portray the CEO of OmniCorp, the conglomerate responsible for building the title character, played by Joel Kinnaman. The cast also includes Gary Oldman as an OmniCorp scientist, Samuel L. Jackson as a TV mogul, and Abbie Cornish as Joel Kinnaman's wife, who still thinks he was killed in action.

‘House’ Comes to an End with Season 8 This May

The executive producers of the hit Fox series House announced today that they will bring the series to an end this May after a successful 8 season run.

Below you can read a statement from series star/executive producer Hugh Laurie and executive producers David Shore and Katie Jacobs."After much deliberation, the producers of House have decided that this season of the show, the 8th, should be the last. By April this year they will have completed 177 episodes, which is about 175 more than anyone expected back in 2004.

Sony Pictures Animation and Aardman Animation have teamed up this holiday season to bring you Arthur Christmas, a wonderful and unique new holiday tale that brings Christmas up to speed with the 21st Century. This 3D animated adventure centers on Arthur (James McAvoy), the bungling youngest son of Santa Claus (Jim Broadbent), who works in the Letters department at the North Pole, far away from the high-tech Christmas operation run by Santa's oldest son, Steve (Hugh Laurie). However, even with all of the technology in the world at their disposal, one child was missed and didn't get a present, which causes Arthur to spring into action and deliver the last present before the sun rises on Christmas Day.
