James Woods Circles ‘White House Down’

James Woods has entered into early negotiations for a role in Sony's White House Down for director Roland Emmerich.

The story centers on a young Secret Service agent (Channing Tatum) who gets put to the ultimate test when a paramilitary group invades the White House and takes everyone hostage. If a deal is finalized, James Woods will play the head of the President's protection detail. Jamie Foxx and Maggie Gyllenhaal also star.
