Edith Cushing (Mia Wasikowska) is seeking a "proper welcome" from Lucille Sharpe (Jessica Chastain), the sister of her husband Thomas Sharpe (Tom Hiddleston) in a new clip from Crimson Peak. While we don't get anything too scary in this scene, Jessica Chastain's Lucille Sharpe makes it clear that Edith shouldn't go into certain parts of the house. We'll have to wait and see whether or not Edith will heed this warning, as we get closer and closer to Crimson Peak's October 16 release.
Written by both Guillermo del Toro and Matthew Robbins, Crimson Peak is a co-production between Legendary and Universal Pictures. Set in the aftermath of a family tragedy, the film follows an aspiring author, who is torn between love for her childhood friend and the temptation of a mysterious outsider. Trying to escape the ghosts of her past, she is swept away to a house that breathes, bleeds... And remembers.Read More

No details were given for Jessica Chastain's role at this time.

Anna Morales (Jessica Chastain) confronts her husband Abel (Oscar Isaac) about a gun she found in their front yard in a new clip from A Most Violent Year. This drama is set in the winter of 1981 in New York City, statistically the most dangerous year in the city's history. Unlike the "cute little warnings" this couple has received over the past few years, Anna knows that this gun means her family is in real danger.
Director J.C. Chandor's third feature examines one immigrant's determined climb up a morally crooked ladder, where simmering rivalries and unprovoked attacks threaten his business, family, and - above all - his own unwavering belief in the righteousness of his path. With A Most Violent Year, Chandor journeys in a bold new direction, toward the place where best intentions yield to raw instinct, and where we are most vulnerable to compromise what we know to be right. This gripping story plays out within a maze of rampant political and industry corruption plaguing the streets of a city in decay.Read More
With nine movies planned for Marvel Phase 3, we can expect most of Hollywood will be rumored for one character or another, but perhaps the most coveted is that of Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel. And while the movie doesn't actually hit theater screens until 2018, its rumored that the character will appear at the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron. If this is true, casting discussions are obviously underway for this scene that has not yet been shot. One possible candidate is Interstellar actress Jessica Chastain, who confirms she has met with the studio, and that she wants to play one of the superheroes, not a civilian. Does that mean she is suiting up as Captain Marvel?
Jessica Chastain was formerly in talks to play Maya Hansen in Iron Man 3, a role that ultimately went to Rebecca Hall. It sounds like she passed for a more substantial role in the future.Read More
