There's a classic line in the 2008 comedy Tropic Thunder where Robert Downey Jr.'s Kirk Lazarus, an Australian actor playing an African-American soldier, says, "I don't drop character 'till I done the DVD commentary." Of course, on the actual DVD commentary, there was Robert Downey Jr., still in character, chatting away as Kirk Lazarus.
