Josh Duhamel Might Cameo in ‘Transformers 4’

Actor Josh Duhamel, who starred in the first three Transformers films, revealed that he may make an appearance in Transformers 4. We reported in June that the new sequel will have a whole new cast, although it seems director Michael Bay wants to find a place for the actor to return as Lennox.

Last month, producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura revealed that a Shia LaBeouf cameo may be possible, if something within the story evolves naturally. As of now, the only confirmed cast members are Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, and Jack Reynor. It isn't known when production will begin on Transformers 4.

Josh Duhamel and Julianne Hough Join ‘Safe Haven’

Relativity Media has closed deals with Josh Duhamel (Transformers, Life as We Know It) and Julianne Hough (Rock of Ages, Footloose) to star as the lead roles in its upcoming film adaptation of Safe Haven, based on the best-selling novel from internationally-known author Nicholas Sparks (The Notebook, Dear John), it was announced today by Relativity's President Tucker Tooley. The film is targeted to start production next month in Southport, North Carolina with a February 8th, 2013 release date. Additional casting to be announced.

Oscar and DGA-nominee Lasse Hallström (The Cider House Rules) will direct the film with Temple Hill Entertainment's Marty Bowen (The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2) and Wyck Godfrey (The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2) producing alongside Relativity's CEO Ryan Kavanaugh (The Fighter). Sparks, who recently launched his production company, Nicholas Sparks Productions, will also produce. Relativity's Tooley (The Fighter) will serve as executive producer. The screenplay is written by Dana Stevens (City of Angels) and Leslie Bohem (Dante's Peak). Relativity previously teamed up with Hallström, Bowen, Godfrey and Sparks on the 2010 box office hit Dear John.

Josh Duhamel Returns to ‘All My Children’

The ABC soap opera All My Children will air its final episode in September, after more than 40 years on the air. Before it goes off the air, though, the show will feature a cameo appearance from one of its now-famous alumni, Josh Duhamel.

The actor will reprise his role of con artist Leo du Pres, which he portrayed from 1999 to 2003. He was nominated for four Daytime Emmy Awards during his run, winning for Best Supporting Actor in 2002. The character supposedly died in 2003, although his body was never discovered.
