‘Star Wars’ Spin-Offs Will Not Crossover with the New Trilogy

What's interesting about this statement is that we already know that Harrison Ford is likely returning as Han Solo in Star Wars: Episode VII, but could this mean that the Untitled Star Wars Han Solo Spin-Off actually focuses on another character, since they don't want the spin-offs and trilogy to cross over? Of course, it's possible that that the spin-off focuses on a younger version of Han Solo, but that has not been confirmed. Or, could this spin-off be centered on a completely different character, such as Yoda?

Earlier today, we reported that Joe Johnston (Captain America: The First Avenger) is a front runner to direct the Untitled Star Wars Boba Fett Spin-Off, although an offer has not been made to the filmmaker yet.
