It's been said that the first 21 years defines the career of an artist. Few directors have single-handedly shaken up the film establishment like the godfather of indie, Richard Linklater. From the groundbreaking SLACKER to his innovative BOYHOOD, Linklater has reached the 21-year mark and has unapologetically carved his signature into American pop culture. Get a raw and honest perspective on Richard through candid conversations with Ethan Hawke, Jack Black, Keanu Reeves, Billy Bob Thornton, Matthew McConaughey, Jason Reitman, Julie Delpy and others, and see their stories brought to life through hilarious animated sequences. For a man who became famous for celebrating the cool and casual, Linklater emerges as a surprisingly strategic and visionary director who has already established a legacy and perfected a style that can't be denied.

The world is downtown New York City, present day - from the point of view of a driver for an escort service. John (Keanu Reeves), a quietly sexy withdrawn guy, is finally aging out of his young, trendy neighborhood, dealing with the beginnings of the next chapter of his life.
John's friends are the party girls he works for - Violet (Bojana Novakovic), an unstoppable entertainer whose weathered beauty and self-proclaimed wisdom are matched only by her lack of audience; and Mia (Adelaide Clemens), the new girl with the dark past, whose traffic-stopping sensuality has brought her nothing but victimization. Both survive on their ability to manipulate men, and don't know how to live any other way. But John, they trust. And through their relationship, all three find a comforting and humorous refuge from the downward spiral of their self-destructive but entertaining lifestyles.
The end of another night out for this odd family of circumstance sets the stage for an all too familiar day spent coming to terms with and reveling in the lives they have unintentionally created for themselves.
When John impulsively steals a camcorder, he decides to capture the sights, sounds, and senses of New York - or rather, his sights, sounds, and senses. He records nature, people, himself. Today. John's experiment takes a new turn when he pans the camera's attention to his Party Girls. Violet is gung-ho, ready at a moment's notice to become the center of attention before the focus fades away. Mia is less enthused, but finds herself opening up to the promise of a spectator.
John's camcorder unravels the girls' lives, as both Violet and Mia find themselves attempting to outdo one another's secrets and opinions.

"A Scanner Darkly" is set in suburban Orange County, California in a future where America has lost the war on drugs. When one reluctant undercover cop is ordered to start spying on his friends, he is launched on a paranoid journey into the absurd, where identities and loyalties are impossible to decode. It is a cautionary tale of drug use based on the novel by Philip K. Dick and his own experiences.
Like a graphic novel come to life, "A Scanner Darkly" will use live action photography overlaid with an advanced animation process (interpolated rotoscoping) to create a haunting, highly stylized vision of the future. The technology, first employed in Richard Linklater's 2001 film "Waking Life," has evolved to produce even more emotional impact and detail.

The Late Show with David Letterman is an hour-long weeknight comedy and talk show broadcast by CBS from the Ed Sullivan Theater on Broadway in New York City. The show debuted on August 30, 1993 and is produced and hosted by David Letterman. The show's music director and bandleader of the house band, the CBS Orchestra, is Paul Shaffer. The head writers are brothers Justin Stangel and Eric Stangel. The announcer is Alan Kalter, who replaced Bill Wendell as announcer in 1995. The show airs at night, but is recorded the afternoon of the broadcast. Each show is recapped in The Wahoo Gazette. Letterman was previously the host of Late Night with David Letterman (which many news articles still call Letterman's show even today) on NBC from 1982 to 1993. Shaffer, Wendell, and several members of the band were also with the NBC show.

So when his company buys the wrong script from a wanna-be screenwriter, he enrages himself to the limit. He meets up with his new friend Wendy Ward, a child-star turned adult-prostitute. Peter asks her to read the scripts and she picks Beverly Hills Gun Club, the script Dragonfire Films mistakenly bought. The show is based around Peter's insanity being hung on a rope "faster than O.J. at a clan rally" as Peter put it. The show was doomed from the start when it was on at 9:00 on Thursday nights, which NBC has ruled since Seinfeld. And when it didn't pick up right away, the show was put on hiatus for their new hit game-show GREED. After the cancellation in Dece
Bill and Ted are the lead singers of the would-be rock band "Wyld Stallyns". In the future, the music produced by the "Wyld Stallyns " will unify all the nations of earth, ushering in a new age of peace and groovy prosperity. To ensure Bill and Ted stay on the right path to success, the overseers of the future send an agent, Rufus, to take Bill and Ted through time and meet the most powerful figures in history. Rufus intends to use the time travel technique to help Bill and Ted improve their grades at high school, and in doing so, learn more about the world that, they in the future, will bring peace to. (Providing of course, they don't bring chaos to the time periods they visit, which they always do.) In the eyes of others, this would seem like the ultimate education, but in Bill and Ted's eyes, it is a Most Excellent Adventure!-Austin Muckenthaler
