Kellan Lutz and Gina Carano Team Up for ‘Extraction’

Less than one month after actor Bruce Willis boarded the action-thriller Extraction, Gina Carano has been confirmed to join the cast, along with Kellan Lutz. We reported last week that actress Gina Carano will star in Extraction before she plays Angel Dust in Deadpool, but now her role has been confirmed.

The story centers on a CIA agent (Bruce Willis) who gets kidnapped by a terrorist group. Kellan Lutz is playing his son, Harry Turner, a CIA rookie agent who conducts a rescue mission on his own, against the agency's wishes. Gina Carano is playing Victoria, a hardened field operative tasked with finding Harry. The supporting cast includes Dan Bilzerian, Lydia Hull and Tyler J. Olson.

First ‘Expendables 3’ Clip Calls Kellan Lutz Into Action

Kellan Lutz pulls off an incredibly amazing and dangerous motorcycle stunt in the first clip from The Expendables 3. Watch as the daredevil swipes a ride from one of the encroaching bad guys, using it to ramp off the tail end of a helicopter and up into a twenty story building, where he arrives just in time to save his much older co-star Sylvester Stallone. "Is it always this easy?" he asks, throwing his mentor a gun as they head off for more action, adventure and excitement. Take a look before The Expendables 3 hits theaters next weekend.

In The Expendables 3, Barney, Christmas and the rest of the team comes face-to-face with Conrad Stonebanks, who years ago co-founded The Expendables with Barney. Stonebanks subsequently became a ruthless arms trader and someone who Barney was forced to kill... or so he thought. Stonebanks, who eluded death once before, now is making it his mission to end The Expendables - but Barney has other plans. Barney decides that he has to fight old blood with new blood, and brings in a new era of Expendables team members, recruiting individuals who are younger, faster and more tech-savvy. The latest mission becomes a clash of classic old-school style versus high-tech expertise in the Expendables' most personal battle yet.

Second ‘Hercules: The Legend Begins’ Trailer

Second ‘Hercules: The Legend Begins’ Trailer

Hercules: The Legend Begins and Hercules: The Thracian Wars are this year's White House Down and Olympus Has Fallen. It happens all the time. Two similar movies competing for your attention at the box office within months of each other. History dictates that the first movie released is usually the breadwinner. White House Down, released June 28, earned $24.8 million on its opening weekend, going onto make $73.1 million in the U.S. and $205.3 million worldwide. Olympus Has Fallen, released three months earlier on March 22, proves the 'first earns more' notion, as it pulled in $30.3 million opening weekend, eventually earning $98.9 million at the domestic box office. It was the clear winner on American soil (globally, it only made $161). This year's two battling Hercules movies 'might' be the exception, unless folks get confused by all the early self-promotion The Rock has done for The Thracian Wars, thinking its Hercules: The Legend Begins instead. Dwayne Johnson is clearly a bigger box office draw than Kellan Lutz. But will that matter? It's really the title selling this one. Hoping to piggyback on some of Hercules: The Thracian Wars excessive promotion, Summit Entertainment moved the release date of Hercules: The Legend Begins to January, where it should actually do quite well. They've also released the second trailer to let you know that they even have a Hercules movie coming to theaters very soon. Check out the latest footage for this fantasy action epic. And decide who gets your money at the box office this New Year.

The Legend of Hercules was released January 10th, 2014.
