Kim Basinger has signed on to reunite with her L.A. Confidential co-star Russell Crowe in another crime noir thriller, The Nice Guys.
The story centers on a private detective (Ryan Gosling) who teams up with an ex-boxer turned hired muscle (Russell Crowe) to find a young girl who has gone missing in 1970s Los Angeles, and to solve the murder of a porn star, as they discover the two cases may be related. Kim Basinger is playing the chief justice who has mysterious interests at play.
