While American Ultra won't be a part of Lionsgate's Hall H panel at Comic-Con this year, the studio is debuting a new poster that will debut at the Con later this week, plus an unusual comic-style poster that ties into the movie. The first features stars Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg holding up their weapons, with a slew of bullets littered around them. The second poster is actually for a character created by Jesse Eisenberg's Mike in the movie named Apollo Ape.
American Ultra centers on Mike (Jesse Eisenberg), a seemingly hapless and unmotivated stoner whose small-town life with his live-in girlfriend, Phoebe (Kristen Stewart), is suddenly turned upside down. Unbeknownst to him, Mike is actually a highly trained, lethal sleeper agent. In the blink of an eye, as his secret past comes back to haunt him, Mike is thrust into the middle of a deadly government operation and is forced to summon his inner action-hero in order to survive.Read More
