‘Break My Heart 1,000 Times’ Gets Directors Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal

The Words director/writers Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal have been hired by Gold Circle to helm the upcoming supernatural thriller Break My Heart 1,000 Times.

The film is an adaptation of Daniel Waters' novel, set after a cataclysmic event that has left ghosts walking the earth. The story centers on a young girl who is terrorized by an apparition that she suspects to be a serial killer.

‘Rex Mundi’ Moves Forward at Warner Bros.

Warner Bros. has hired the writing team of Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal, who shared a story credit on Tron: Legacy, to adapt the comic book Rex Mundi.

Johnny Depp is on board as a producer through his Infinitum Nihil production company. The comic book was created by Arvid Nelson and Eric Johnson, and centers on a world where the Protestant Reformation was defeated by the Catholic Church, and where magic is real. The story picks up in 1933 with a pathologist investigating the murder of a priest who took him in. This leads to a journey to find the Holy Grail.
