Mackenzie Foy, who played Renesmee in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2, is in final talks to join the cast of Interstellar for director Christopher Nolan.
No details were given in regards to her character, but she joins a cast that already includes Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine, Bill Irwin and Casey Affleck. Stephenie Meyer, creator of the novel series which the popular films are based on, has hinted that she is writing a new Twilight spin-off series that will focus on Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) and his relationship with Renesmee (Mackenzie Foy), the daughter of Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), whom Jacob 'imprints' upon at the time of birth, marking the newborn as his life mate (or life protector, however you want to look at it).

Teenage actress Christie Burke has joined the cast of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2. She will play an older version of Mackenzie Foy's Renesmee in a flash-forward scene involving Taylor Lautner's Jacob Black, who has imprinted on the young vampire baby.
Renesmee will appear at various different ages throughout The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2, with a number of different actors already signed onto portray each incarnation, including Rachel St. Gelais, Sierra Pitkin, and Eliza Faria. A difficult task for Mackenzie Foy will be how to portray Renesmee, a character who ages a full 17 years in only seven. Sources have suggested that director Bill Condon will employ similar digital effects to those used by David Fincher in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, where Mackenzie Foy's face would be digitally transferred onto the face of a younger child.Read More
