Comedian Martin Lawrence has confirmed that Bad Boys 3 is very close to getting a green light. He appeared on last night's Conan promoting his new FX sitcom Partners. Host Conan O'Brien brought up the subject, saying he'd heard a rumor that a sequel was in the works.

Martin Lawrence Comes Back to TV in 2012

Martin Lawrence is in talks with CBS to produce and star in a new TV comedy series. Although the actor has not made an appearance on TV since the mid nineties (Martin), CBS is set to bring him on for the 2012-2013 season.

The comedian starred in one of Fox network's earliest sitcom successes, playing multiple roles in more than 130 episodes of Martin from 1992 until 1997.
