Unauthorized: The Harvey Weinstein Project is as much an examination of the last 25 years of the history of independent cinema as it is a story about Weinstein himself. Without Hollywood’s “Last Bully”, there would be no Pulp Fiction, no one would have known about that English patient, Rob Marshall would still be a chorus boy and Quentin would be recommending Bruce Lee’s greatest hits in some video store. Like a Hollywood rags to riches story with enough twists and turns that threaten to turn the riches back into rags, Harvey began his career in one of the most unglamorous places in the world, Buffalo. His rise from an improbable concert promoter along with eventual Rolling Stones Tsar Michael Cohl, to what some call the saviour of modern film has been nothing short of spectacular and controversial.

As the debate over the state of America's public school system rages on, one thing everyone agrees on is the need for great teachers. Yet, while research proves that teachers are the most important school factor in a child's future success, America's teachers are so woefully underpaid that almost a third must divide their time between a second job in order to make a living. Chronicling the stories of four teachers in different areas of the country, American Teacher reveals the frustrating realities of today's educators, the difficulty of attracting talented new teachers, and why so many of our best teachers feel forced to leave the profession altogether. But this wake-up call to our system's failings also looks at possibilities for reform. Can we re-value teaching in the United States and turn it into a prestigious, financially attractive and competitive profession? With almost half of American teachers leaving the field in the next five years, now is the time to find out.

In 2006, an international expedition team of three men - Charlie Engle (USA), Ray Zahab (Canada) and Kevin Lin (Taiwan) undertook a quest that no human being has ever fulfilled. They ran across the Sahara Desert. Each runner brought his own unique story and motivations, but all unite around a love for Africa and a profound desire to prove that the impossible is possible. The film is an up-close, character-driven documentary that delves deep into the culture of the Sahara through the eyes of three individuals undergoing a life-altering experience. Along with the runners, we cross six countries: Senegal, Mauritania, Mali, Niger, Libya and Egypt. Through the eyes of our runners, we come to understand the realities of Africa - the beauty and the tragedy inherent in everyday life. This reality is underscored by the recurring theme of water - a daily necessity for our runners and a daily struggle for many of the people they encounter. The cast encountered many locals who spend two and half hours per day, every day, finding and cleaning their water for that day. Sprawling over 3.5 million square miles, the Sahara is a mystical land, enchanting for its extreme beauty and its complex culture. At the same time, it may well be the most unforgiving place on earth -- the daytime heat and the freezing temperatures at night can suck the life from a body in an instant. The team accomplished running for 111 days and over 4800 miles. This is the story of what happened along the way. Written by William Keys

Matt Damon TV Shows
One of the most unique concepts in TV history. "It's the Hollywood Cinderella story. Two childhood friends share an apartment in LA, struggling to break into acting. Unknown after years of hard work and tired of bit parts, they write their own script and star in it. Not only do they get recognized, they become famous and win an Oscar for Best Screenplay. A dream? Hardly. It's the true story of Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. And it is this fairy tale come true that inspired them to team up with American Pie producer Chris Moore, and Dimension, to create a contest and community that would open the industry to aspiring writers and directors who need a big break to jump start their dreams."-PGL website
This 3rd season they are trying something completely different. First, a new network is picking up the show to give it new life. Thanks go out to the Bravo network for continuing these dreams. Second, a different studio, Dimension, has stepped up the reward to 2 million dollar to produce th
Along with "Hard Copy" and "A Current Affair", this show was one of the early alternative news shows to be carried nationwide in the US. Primary stories usually focused on sex scandals, sensational crimes and emerging religious cults, but secondary stories often carried such information as consumer safety tips, health and fitness recommendations, and various "human interest" stories.
YEARS OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY follows a star-studded roster of major film, television and renowned journalists traveling the globe, tackling an enormous range of subjects on the hot button topic of climate change. The correspondents are Jessica Alba, Mark Bittman, Don Cheadle, Matt Damon, America Ferrera, Harrison Ford, Thomas Friedman, Michael C. Hall, Chris Hayes, Olivia Munn, Dr. M. Sanjayan, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ian Somerhalder and Lesley Stahl. YEARS OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY is executive produced by James Cameron, Jerry Weintraub, Schwarzenegger, along with Emmy(R)-winning former 60 Minutes producers Joel Bach and David Gelber, and climate expert Daniel Abbasi. The series is co-executive produced by seven-time Emmy winner Solly Granatstein (60 Minutes and Rock Center with Brian Williams) and Maria Wilhelm (Avatar Alliance Foundation). Dr. Joseph Romm (ClimateProgress.org) serves as the chief science editor.
Emmy-winner Jimmy Kimmel serves as host and executive producer of “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” ABC Television Network’s distinctive late-night talk show. The show features a diverse lineup of guests, including celebrities, athletes, comedians, politicians and human interest subjects. Along with a light-hearted and recognizable cast of characters, a hip house band and comedy bits in Kimmel’s inimitable style, the show additionally offers one of the funniest, freshest monologues on television today, drawing from all forms of topical media. “Jimmy Kimmel Live” often features elaborate, innovative stunts such as having notables like J.J. Abrams and Quentin Tarantino guest-direct an entire episode; traveling the show to Detroit for a week’s worth of Super Bowl-themed shows; conducting a special episode from a hospital bed with interviews featuring the doctors on staff of ”Grey’s Anatomy,” as they tended to Jimmy’s snakebite wound; and constructing a state-of-the-art performance stage in the center of Hollywood Boulevard to showcase A-list music acts.
The show originates from Disney’s El Capitan Entertainment Center, located on Hollywood Boulevard in the heart of LA’s star studded Walk of Fame. This illustrious location is featured prominently in the show as Kimmel showcases the unique character of Hollywood. “Jimmy Kimmel Live” airs weeknights at 12:05 a.m. in most markets.
In its fifth season, “Jimmy Kimmel Live” is enjoying a ratings boost and has featured such high profile regular guests as George Clooney, Britney Spears, Jennifer Garner, Robin Williams, Shaquille O’Neal, Clay Aiken, Eva Longoria, Eminem, Diane Sawyer, Lindsay Lohan, Hillary Duff, Jessica Alba, Simon Cowell, Janet Reno, Kiefer Sutherland, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Kelly Ripa, Jack Black, Teri Hatcher, Sir Ian McKellen and Mariah Carey; plus musical guests Coldplay, 50 Cent, Foo Fighters, Blink 182, Destiny’s Child, Jane’s Addiction, Toby Keith, Gwen Stefani, Audioslave, Nelly, Motley Crue, Green Day, Barry Manilow, Franz Ferdinand, Lionel Richie, The Wiggles and Alanis Morissette since its premiere on Super Bowl Sunday, January 26, 2003.
“Jimmy Kimmel Live” is taped later in the day than other late-night shows – at 7:45 p.m., PT. This allows the show to be extremely topical -- able to respond to the news of the day more quickly than the competition. Kimmel applies his irreverent wit to politics, television, the media, the FCC, popular culture – everything is a target. A weekly comedy segment called “Unnecessary Censorship” pokes fun at the FCC’s crackdown on the media by unnecessarily censoring clips from TV news, political speeches, reality TV and nature shows. Other regular comedy segments include Cousin Sal’s hidden camera pranks, number one Michael Jackson fan Jake Byrd’s “man on the street,” feisty Aunt Chippy on location, parking lot security guard Guillermo’s Hollywood Gossip Round-up and adorably clueless Uncle Frank’s coverage of red-carpet premieres.
Jimmy Kimmel and Jill Leiderman serve as executive producers and Jason Schrift and Douglas DeLuca as co-executive producers. “Jimmy Kimmel Live” is shot live in front of a studio audience and produced by Jackhole Industries in association with ABC Studios.

Bell joins the already cast Dawn Oliveri (Heroes), Josh Lawson (Romantically Challenged) and noted comedian Ben Schwartz (Undercovers) as Marty’s corporate team; the legendary Glynn Turman (In Treatment) as Marty’s psychoanalyst father; and Donis Leonard Jr. (The Fresh Beat Band) as Marty’s young son.
