For decades, the most requested photo from the National Archives is an image featuring a meeting between music icon Elvis Presley and President Richard Nixon in 1970. The story of this iconic meeting has finally made it to the big screen in the new movie Elvis & Nixon, with IMDB revealing the first trailer. The trailer debut is especially significant, since today is Elvis Presley's birthday.
Elvis & Nixon tells the story about Elvis Presley (Michael Shannon) visiting President Richard Nixon (Kevin Spacey) at the White House in December of 1970. The meeting was initiated by Presley, who wrote Nixon a six-page letter requesting a visit and suggesting that he be made a 'Federal Agent-at-Large' in the Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs. Presley brought with him family photos and a Colt 45 pistol as a personal gift to the President.Read More
All we know for sure is that Michael Shannon will have some sort of vocal presence as Zod's ghost in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but what do you think of this whole "flipper hands" story? And if he does appear as some sort of a Kryptonian ghost, will he interact with Superman? Hopefully we'll find out more details about Zod's presence in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice soon, but until then, chime in with your thoughts.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice comes to theaters March 25th, 2016.Read More
If you're wondering what these flippers are, so are we, because Zod doesn't have any flippers in the comics. There are many fans who speculate that Zod may actually be resurrected as the iconic Doomsday villain, since many were shocked that Zod was killed off in 2013's Man of Steel. Director Zack Snyder defended the massive fight between Zod and Superman in a recent interview, but he didn't give any clues that hint at Zod turning into Doomsday.
Do you have any theories about Zod's flippers in this superhero movie? Perhaps Zod's corpse does actually become a new character, but it's not Doomsday, perhaps someone with a connection to Jason Momoa's Aquaman. Hopefully we'll find out more in the next trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which hits theaters March 25, 2016.Read More
