‘Avengers 2’ Poster Has Best Look Yet at the Vision

‘Avengers 2’ Poster Has Best Look Yet at the Vision

Fans at an international Disney event spotted an Avengers: Age of Ultron promo art poster, which offers a new look at Paul Bettany's Vision. The sequel marks Paul Bettany's first live-action appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actor provided the voice of J.A.R.V.I.S. in Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Marvel's The Avengers and Iron Man 3. So far, this is the best look yet that we've gotten at Paul Bettany's addition to the 2015 Avengers lineup.

As you can see in the promo art below, Vision is surrounded by Captain America (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner). There is still very little we know about how Vision fits in to the sequel, but the story revolves around Tony Stark trying to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program. Things go awry, and Earth's Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to the Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.

Paul Bettany Talks Vision in ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’

Back in February, it was announced that the voice of Tony Stark's personal A.I. system J.A.R.V.I.S. in the Iron Man movies and Marvel's The Avengers, Paul Bettany, would be taking on the role of Vision in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Vision emerged in the Marvel comics back in the 1960s, an android created by Ultron to be used as a weapon against the Avengers. Vision ultimately turns the table against his creator, and becomes a member of the Avengers, marrying Scarlet Witch, who is being played by Elizabeth Olsen in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Vision's powers include the ability to fire radiation beams and he can use a hologram force that makes him invisible.

‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’: Possible Vision Costume Details Revealed

Fresh off yesterday's big news that Paul Bettany is portraying Vision in Avengers: Age of Ultron, we have possible new details on the character's costume. Our report from yesterday revealed that the actor was spotted at London's Shepperton Studios, where he met with director Joss Whedon and conducted tests with the makeup department, who were using a number of different powders to try and replicate Vison's chalky-white skin. Today's report from Comic Book Therapy reveals that Marvel may implement a mask similar to Tony Stark's Iron Man helmet, although they have not decided whether or not they want to rework the mask, or incorporate the actor's own face.

Marvel executives and director Joss Whedon were mulling over the costume possibilities earlier this week, and it is believed that they don't want Vision to come off looking like a colorful version of Iron Man.
