American actor and film producer Paul Rudd became a minor teen idol with his break-out performance in the 1995 film Clueless. His other early credits include Wet Hot American Summer, Cider House Rules and William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet. He also landed a recurring role in the television series Friends as Phoebe's husband. Rudd has since become a full-fledged comedy film star with roles in Anchorman (2004), The 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005) and Admission (2013).

It was announced today by Disney and Marvel that Captain America: Civil War has officially begun shooting at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta, Georgia. Along with the official synopsis, the full cast was revealed. And it certainly contained some surprises. While quite a few cast members had been confirmed leading up to today's announcement, we finally have official word that some other familiar faces will also be joining the Avengers for the first time.
The most notable cast addition in Captain America: Civil War is that of Paul Rudd, who will make his debut in Marvel's Ant-Man on July 17, 2015. Scott Lang will make his first appearance alongside the Avengers in 2016. Also coming as somewhat of a surprise is the inclusion of William Hurt as General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross. William Hurt made his debut as Ross in 2008's The Incredible Hulk. In the comics, he becomes Red Hulk, but it isn't known if that will happen in Captain America: Civil War.Read More
Paul Rudd has signed on to follow-up his role in Marvel's Ant-Man with the drama The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving. The project is an adaptation of Jonathan Evison's 2012 bestselling novel of the same name. Rob Burnett, a longtime executive producer on CBS' Late Show with David Letterman, is directing from his own adapted screenplay.
The story centers on Ben Benjamin (Paul Rudd), who forms a bond with a young boy stricken with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. They both begin to push each other to get their own lives back on track in this inspirational drama about two broken individuals coming to terms with their difficult lives.
