Writer-director Quentin Tarantino revisits the seedier side of Los Angeles--following 1992's RESERVOIR DOGS--with this funny, violent, tongue-in-cheek tribute to the less "classic" side of filmmaking--the potboilers and capers, the Blaxploitation flicks and gangster movies. The film interweaves three tales, told in a circular, fractured manner, which only fully connect by the time the final credits roll. The first story focuses on Vincent Vega (John Travolta) and Jules Winnfield (Samuel L. Jackson), two hit men on duty for "the big boss," Marsellus Wallace (Ving Rhames), whose gorgeous wife, Mia (Uma Thurman), takes a liking to Vincent. In the second, a down-and-out pugilist (Bruce Willis), who is ordered to take a fall, decides that there's more money in doing the opposite. The final chapter follows a pair of lovers (Amanda Plummer and Tim Roth) as they prepare to hold up a diner.
Tarantino wears his cinematic influences proudly, bringing them to life in the ironically hip, self-referential 1990s. The result is a work that changed the face of independent cinema forever, making it a legitimate player in the Hollywood mainstream. The all-star cast steps into their roles with obvious glee, and Tarantino once again uses his soundtrack to up the "cool" ante yet another notch, making for a motion picture event that has worked its way into our national vernacular.

Senior agent Jack Malone (Anthony LaPaglia) heads the dedicated team that knows too well that every second counts when someone vanishes. His squad includes Samantha Spade (Poppy Montgomery), an agent who doesn't let her good looks get in the way of being tough; Vivian Johnson (Marianne Jean-Baptiste), a no-nonsense investigator; Danny Taylor (Enrique Murciano), an intense and private agent; and Martin Fitzgerald (Eric Close), the newest member of the team, considered a lightweight by the squad because his only experience involves fighting white-collar crime.
In this spin-off from Batman Beyond, Zeta is an experimental infiltration robot equipped with weaponry and a holographic self-projector that allows it to assume any identity. Unfortunately, his programming also evolves to the point where he acquires both sentience and a conscience. He flees the U.S. government, who believe he has been re-programmed by a foreign power. On the run, Zeta encounters Rosalie "Ro" Rowan, a street orphan who is wanted by the law herself. Initially fascinated by Zeta's criminal skills and the unlimited-cash untraceable credit card he has, she attaches herself to him. The two quickly form a real friendship, and set out across America to find both Roe's parents, and Zeta's creator who can prove that Zeta is acting of his own free will. The NSA, led by Agent Bennett, are in hot pursuit. Awards & Nominations: 2001 Annie Awards

The genesis of Baby Blues comes from the award-winning, internationally syndicated comic strip of the same name. The series expands the world seen in the strip and offers stories for the whole family, exposing the humorous underbelly of suburban parenting. Set in a slice of suburbia on the outskirts of normal, this irreverent new series follows the daily exploits of Darryl (voiced by Mike O'Malley, 28 Days, [movie]Deep Impact) and Wanda (voiced by Julia Sweeney, Saturday Night Live, God Said Ha!) MacPherson. A career couple in their late 20s recently transformed into two well-intentioned but weary young parents, Darryl and Wanda are dealing with the dual pressures of their new little bundle of joy, Zoe, and the dysfunctional family living next door. Baby Blues amplifies the comic strip's world by adding their mismatched fence neighbors, Carl (voiced by Joel Murray, Dharma & Greg/show]) and Melinda (voiced by Arabella Field, Godzilla) Bitterman, who serve as a shining example of ho
A comedy about a Las Vegas showgirl named Nikki who is married to a professional wrestler. Together they try to make ends meet while furthering their respective careers.
Yes, Dear is a comedy about two young couples and their outrageously contrasting views on parenting. First-time parents, Greg and Kim Warner struggle on a daily basis to become perfect at the job. Kim (Jean Louisa Kelly) is a neurotic, stay-at-home mother, and although her husband, Greg (Anthony Clark), is a success in his career, his more difficult job is keeping his wife calm as they raise their year-old son, Sam. While Kim is determined to be the perfect mother and perfect wife and to raise the perfect son, her sister, Christine Hughes (Liza Snyder), a very down-to-earth mother of two [Dominic and Logan], continually reminds her that life will never be perfect. Christine's husband, Jimmy (Mike O'Malley), is unemployed and unconcerned and feels compelled to share with his brother-in-law his philosophy about being a husband and a parent while still remaining a man.
Initially meant as Toon Disney's first original series (though ultimately shunted to UPN's "One Too" lineup), The Legend of Tarzan picks up where Disney's feature film left off, with the title character adjusting to his new role as leader of the apes (following Kerchak's death), and Jane (whom he's since married) adjusting to life in the jungle. Rounding out the cast are Jane's father, Professor Archimedes Q. Porter; Tantor, the germophobic elephant; and Terk, a wisecracking female ape and Tarzan's old wrestling buddy.
Head Characters: Tarzan and Jane - While Tarzan helps Jane get over her more romantic ideas about jungle life, Jane acts as his guide to the duplicity in human nature -- and insists he eat his food from a plate. It is a never-ending growth process for both, with some startling insights into what "civilized" means, and some uproarious stumbling blocks along the way. Professor - A loving father to daughter Jane, Professor Porter is a noted scientist

Clifford the Big Red Dog is a fun show aimed towards younger audiences. Clifford, a 20 foot tall red dog, plays with his dog friends, Cleo and T-Bone, and has great adventures with them. Clifford's best friend, however, is Emily Elizabeth Howard, his owner. Emily has friends of her own and all the characters live peacefully on Birdwell Island. Each Clifford the Big Red Dog episode consists of two stories, linked by a "Speckle Story," a story read to Clifford by Emily Elizabeth about the adventures of a dog named Speckle. At the end of each episode is a "big idea" presented by Clifford, followed by a short promotional spot for one of the characters on Clifford. Please note that some online guides list two big ideas for each episode. The "big idea" listed in this guide will always be only the one that actually airs at the end of the episode itself. Also included is a short segment featuring a real kid with his/her dog. However, most, if not all, PBS stations no longer show this s
The tight-knit Oblong clan lives in Hill Valley, a toxic valley downstream from your typical industrial waste site, which has caused a variety of bizarre physical and emotional abnormalities. At the head of the dinner table is the loving, limbless, tirelessly upbeat patriarch Bob Oblong and his adoring, alcohol-and-tobacco-addicted, bald-but-beautifully-wigged wife Pickles, who frequents the Rusty Bucket bar, owned by transexual Anita Bidet (who was originally to be named Sofonda Cox!). The family includes their conjoined twin sons Biff and Chip, who share three legs and three buttocks, but can't seem to agree on anything; sweet, tattling, 4-year-old daughter Beth, sporting a cucumber-like growth sprouting from her head; and youngest son Milo, a one-haired optimist who has every childhood emotional disorder and behavioral problem ever diagnosed. Other members of the family include Bob's mother, Grammy, who's a vegetable; Milo's narcoleptic scottie dog, Scottie; and the chain-smoki

The potential images those words created alone caused more controversy for this series, before it had even premiered. The "Bible Belt" was up in arms and no-one had even seen an episode. In most of those southern states the local ABC affiliates refused to carry the show, which was a shame because aside from a "little" bare flesh and a couple of harsh words, they missed out on a quality television show. Of course it wasn't long before they realized it really was no big deal. Late during the first season, Steven Bochco said during an acceptance speech at the 20th Annual People's Choice Awards:
"In spite of those who seek to legislate what we can and cannot see on our own television sets in the privacy of our own homes. NYPD Blue has succeeded because the American people, properly so, prefer to judge for themselves."
This animated series, based on Kevin Smith's 1994 film of the same name, centers on Dante Hicks and Randal Graves, the clerks at The Quick Stop and RST Video. These "slackers" spend most of their time spoofing pop culture and whining about their miserable lives. Adding color to their lives are the resident "hetero-life partners" Jay and Silent Bob, who hang out and sell fireworks outside the store.
Weird Al takes over MTV for four hours, skewering videos and interspersing silly skits. Created, written and directed by ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic. The plot is simple; using his pirate satellite transmitter, Al commands the airwaves of a music video station so he can show the videos that he wants to watch. In between videos he would comment on the latest in music news, take letters from his fans, and hold fake interviews. Al would take old celebrity interview footage and edit for fun.

Living Single was a situation comedy that centered on the lives of a group of six African American friends living in (or near) a Brooklyn brownstone. The series focused on the personal and professional lives of each character, as well as their relationships with one another. Khadijah James, editor and publisher of the urban independent monthly Flavor, shares an apartment with her sweet but naive cousin Synclaire, an aspiring actress who works as Khadijah's receptionist; and her longtime friend Regine Hunter, an image-conscious boutique buyer with a fondness for gossip and wigs. Maxine Shaw, a sharp-tongued attorney and Khadijah's best friend, stops by frequently to share her unique insights and make sure the girls' refrigerator isn't overstocked.
