Second ‘Home’ Trailer Starring Rihanna and Jim Parsons

Five months after the first trailer debuted back in June, DreamWorks Animation is giving fans another glimpse at Home with the second trailer, starring voice actors Jim Parsons and Rihanna.

When Earth is taken over by the overly confident Boov, an alien race in search of a new place to call home, all humans are promptly relocated, while all Boov get busy reorganizing the planet. But when one resourceful girl, Tip, (Rihanna, who also contributes a song) manages to avoid capture, she finds herself the accidental accomplice of a banished Boov named Oh (Jim Parsons). The two fugitives realize there's a lot more at stake than intergalactic relations as they embark on the road trip of a lifetime.

Rihanna Wanted for ‘Bond 24’ Role and Theme Song?

With production now set to begin this December, Eon Productions has reportedly approached Grammy-winning pop star Rihanna for a cameo appearance in Bond 24.

Rihanna made her feature film debut in the 2012 action-adventure Battleship. She also played herself in last year's comedy hit This Is the End and appeared in the documentaries Katy Perry: Part of Me and Bettie Page Reveals All. The actress-singer also lends her voice to DreamWorks Animation's Home, in theaters next March.

Jim Parsons and Rihanna Sign on for ‘Happy Smekday!’

DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc. today announced that Emmy and Golden Globe winner Jim Parsons (Harvey on Broadway and The Big Bang Theory) and international superstar Rihanna (Battleship) will star in the leading roles in Happy Smekday!, a feature film based on the critically acclaimed book "The True Meaning of Smekday" by . The studio plans to release Happy Smekday! during the fourth quarter of 2014.

Tim Johnson (Over The Hedge, Antz) will serve as the film's director. Christopher Jenkins (Rio, Surf's Up) and Suzanne Buirgy (Kung Fu Panda 2) are serving as producers and DreamWorks Animation's Head of Development Gregg Taylor is overseeing the project. Tom J. Astle and Matt Ember (Get Smart) are currently writing the screenplay.
