Robert De Niro and Sigourney Weaver have joined the cast of Buried director Rodrigo Cortés' upcoming psychological thriller Red Lights. According to Variety, Cortés wrote the screenplay, which will be produced by Adrián Guerra through his Barcelona-based Versus Entertainment.

With his Sundance sensation Buried to hit theaters in October, director Rodrigo Cortés is working on his follow-up film which has just landed a major star. Bloody-Disgusting is reporting that Sigourney Weaver has signed on to star in Cortes' next film, Red Lights.
Weaver will star as Margaret Matheson in the film, which revolves around, "a para-psychologist who attempts to debunk a very reputable psychic who has just returned to the limelight after 30 years." It wasn't clear whether or not Matheson will be the psychic or the para-psychologist.Read More
